Are Babylights & Root Stretch the Same as Balayage?

No, babylights is a lightening technique which creates the impression of youthfulness, lightening around your face. Root stretch is a kind of reverse-Balayage, when you have your hair entirely blonde and we darken at the roots it creating more of a natural look.

How Should I Prepare For My Balayage Hair Colour Appointment?

We strongly suggest you attend a complimentary consultation, this way you can meet your chosen stylist beforehand and discuss what type of Balayage you would like, we advise bringing along any photos to show examples of what colours you would like. Once you know when your colour service will be you should not wash your hair for at least 36 hours prior to your appointment.

How Long Will It Take To Create a Balayage Look For Me?

The length of services is dependent on your hair length, thickness, current colour and which Balayage service you choose. We offer 3 types of Balayage;

Half Balayage: We focus on the top and sides of your hair. This can take up to 3 ½ hours
Full Balayage: We focus on your entire head of hair but not necessary from the roots. This can take up to 4 hours.

Are There Many ‘Downsides’ To Having Balayage?

No, it has a long lasting natural effect. We also offer additional services such as Smartbond which is an amazing treatment that protects your hair during a colour service.
