A Cut Closer to Interview Success

A Cut Closer to Interview SuccessWe’re delighted to be working with one of our customers, Maria Lenn, and charity project Suited & Booted who help disadvantaged men in London back into employment. On Monday 6 August we’re dedicating the whole day to welcoming men – referred to us by Maria – who are struggling to find their way in society and gain meaningful employment.

We all know that in today’s world (whether we like it or not) image counts for a lot and looking the part is half the battle to getting your dream job. First impressions really do count! That’s why the team and I will be spending the day on Monday talking to each of the men who visit us to find out what kind of jobs they are applying for and what look they feel most comfortable with. We’ll be offering advice on creating a good first impression through simple personal grooming techniques. Every man will receive a professional hair cut within our top hair salon in covent garden and style to make them look and feel fantastic which we hope will help give them the self confidence to approach every job interview with a positive attitude.

Thanks to our friends at L’Oreal every man will be given a free goodie bag of styling products so they can keep the look for future interviews. Armed with a new hair cut, style advice and a smart suit, shirt, tie and shoes, every man will be fully dressed to impress.

We’ll let you know how we all get on next week and will be posting some hot tips for creating the right look to win your dream job too. Getting ready for an interview is a nervous experience, at our salon in covent garden, we can style you hair to make you feel more confident.

How can you help? If you’d like to help your fellow Londoners find a job that can literally turn their lives around the charity project is always on the look out for good quality suits, shirts, trousers, ties, jackets and shoes to help their clients look their best and dress for success.
